from me. to you.
Hi Tucker
My name is Lindsay
England and we have never met. I've never started a letter like that and how
the weight behind those words would change my life. I don't know you, yet I
admire you and look up to you. These last 7 days have been one of the most eye
opening experiences in my life. I don't know you, yet I cried for you today. I
want you to breathe. I wish I could let you borrow my breath or just give you
some of mine, I have plenty. The other night I started to think about you and I
started to cry. I remember saying to myself, "why am I crying? I haven't
met him." I feel like I have met you. I've met your wonderful friends and
family through this crazy thing called the internet. You have touched my
life in a way I don't think I can ever put in to words. These last 7 days have
showed me what love is, what kindness is, compassion. My whole outlook on life
has changed. I've started to realize why I am here on this Earth. I don't think
I've had a moment yet were I thought that, and you gave me that, someone I haven't
even met. I know you will be OK because God wants you to give what
you gave me, to more people.
Ill be up here from PA to NC sending you my breath
Lindsay
Thank you Anonymous
Today has been exciting. We received a $1,000 donation that made us ALL fall off our chairs! Who still is unknown ;) I can't believe people take the time to give so much, it still amazes me!
Second, we received another fall off the chair donation. This was from someone I really did not expect. I sent him an e-mail at first because I was so flabbergasted and just had to say THANK YOU. I then asked if I could let people know who he was because I feel something like that should not go unnoticed.
He kindly said that was fine.
Thank you!!
From Anonymous Donor:
I am blown away by the effort put forward to make this happen. I am grateful for the other 900+ donors to find in their heart to such an amazing deed.
I felt led by God to make my donation. I believe God is just giving Tucker an amazing testimony.
An amazing testimony gives Tucker power over any circumstance.
I do not mind you sharing my information as a donor.
Thank you for making the effort to get Tucker breath.
Aaron Curry!!
Update!!
When I said long night, well I wasn't kidding. We've been on a real ride of emotion! First MCV was med air vac, then MCV to ambulance then canceled due to weather. So we go in the am. Then Duke decides they would send their ambulance up. Two hours later: Duke is sending medical airplane to pick him up at 11:00 pm. Safe travels to us all!

My Heart is Full of Love.....
My heart is full of love; my body full of strength and determination. The past 30+ days have been a roller coaster and I know our journey is just beginning. I am overwhelmed but humble with all of the prayers, donations, media and notes everyone has posted. A lot whom I do not know. I have always believed if we all ban together and given just a dollar, that so many needs can easily be met. Duke transport is now on their way to pick up Tucker. It will be a long night -early morning ahead as I will follow behind the ambulance. Tuck will be disappointed the weather changed but I promised him that helicopter ride will happen when this is all done. Duke has agreed to evaluate him to enter into their lung transplant program. I ask each of you to keep him in your prayers and I pray that he will receive new lungs and finally know what it means to breathe.
Peace to all - Page
